A guy on my team had a bad pull, let it heal, then pulled it again right away. He was told by his doctor to wear them. I'll get you the exact brand once i hear back from him.

When I started playing hockey again, I found I was frequently coming away with mild groin pulls. I started wearing Under Armor compression shorts, and the problem alleviated. I don't know if it does much now that I've started getting my groin flexibility back, but I still wear them out of habit.

Ive worn underarmor compression shorts since i started playing goal. Never had a groin pull, which probably means they help as im an old out of shape bastard!

I have a problem with my knees and calves; I wear long underarmor type compression leggings - they work awesome. I stopped wearing my knee brace because the leggings provide enough support, along with the knee cradle. I think they'd definitely help for groin pulls as well.

I wear the UA compression shorts for hockey, and now that I think of it, I really can't remember the last time I actually had a groin pull. Never really bought the shorts for anything like that -- I just bought them because they had the velcro for my socks, and they were the first ones I found that didn't include the cup in them. I used to pull my groin quite frequently - most of the time though, it was probably because I didn't let it heal completely before going out and playing again...

I wear the Under Armour HeatGear compression shorts, not the Under Armour Coreshort. I got a mild groin pull today. For whatever that's worth.
